EA Sports: MMA and Fight Night Champion
These 2 games should have been added to my other article I wrote about upcoming games, but I feel that these 2 games should have their own article.
As you know, EA games as well as EA sports have been very successful recently, but we’ll be talking about EA sports achievements this year and what to look forward to.
Fight Night Round 4 was a MAJOR hit. I for one am a big fan of the series and am looking forward to Fight Night Champion. FN4 had really good ratings and reviews due to the fact of the amazing fight physics make every hit feel real, and that how the graphics improved just made the game insane.
The Com vs Com was also really good because at times it felt like a actual boxing match. I also find it really surprising how the gameplay feel changed from FN3 to FN4.
What I mean by this is that, the punching system has been tweaked in FN4 and made the game fantastic.
So if FN4 had major changes and the ratings were top shelf, I wonder what Fight Night Champion will bring about. And from the footage of the game so far, it evolved once again to a higher level of realism.
Another major hit to look forward to is the EA sports game, MMA. The game includes many different rules and arenas ranging from the pride soccer kicks and square ring, to the unified rules of martial arts and strikeforce cage.
With all of this, the gameplay looks smooth and more fluid than that of its rival UFC 2010. Because the game is made by EA sports, the stand up seems to follow a similar system to fight night. But it might just be me.
Although MMA isn’t out yet, it was a smart move on EA’s part to not release the game so soon, because with UFC 2010 out, EA sports still have time to perfect their creation and perhaps make an even better game than UFC 10.
Here are a few pictures and videos of what EA sports MMA looks like. (Sadly I don't have any footage of FNC)
